The word 'conceivable' means that something is able to be imagined, understood or believed. It is used to describe things that are possible or could be possible, although they might not have happened yet. For example, it is conceivable that aliens exist somewhere in the universe, though we have no proof at the moment. It can also be used to express doubt, as in, it is not conceivable that the Earth is flat because we have evidence that it is round. The word 'conceivable' is often used to discuss hypothetical scenarios, theories, and ideas.
