The word 'eyepiece' refers to the part of a device or equipment, such as a telescope, microscope, or camera, which a person looks into with their eye to see what is being magnified or captured. It is typically located at the far end of the device, opposite to the lens, and allows the user to adjust the focus and magnification to clearly see the subject of interest. For example, when looking through a telescope, the eyepiece is the piece at the end that you put your eye up to in order to see the planets and stars better.
