"Casting out" usually means to remove or get rid of something or someone, often for negative or unwanted behavior. For example: In a classroom, a disruptive student can be cast out or removed from the class. In a sports game, a player who consistently breaks the rules and doesn't follow instructions might be cast out or replaced by another player. In a company, an employee who does not follow the workplace rules may be cast out or fired from their job. It is also sometimes used in a spiritual or religious context, meaning to banish or exorcise evil spirits or negative energies.
