The expression "come into" means to acquire or inherit something, such as money, property or a possession. For example, "I came into a lot of money when my grandfather passed away" means that after the grandfather's death, the person inherited a large sum of money. Another example could be “I recently came into possession of a vintage record player” which means that the person acquired a record player at some point in time. The expression is usually used in the past tense to describe something that someone has acquired by chance or by inheritance.
