The expression "copy in" is commonly used in written communication, especially in emails, to indicate that someone else is being included in the same message. For example, if you want to send an email to your boss about a project, you might "copy in" your coworker who is also working on the project so that they are aware of the conversation. You can do this by adding their email address to the "cc" or "bcc" field when composing the email. "Copy in" can also be used in a conversation to mean "include someone else in this discussion."
