Cách sử dụng
The expression "cut across" means to take the shortest path or route in order to get somewhere faster. You can use this expression when you want to describe a situation where someone takes a path that is not the usual one, in order to save time or to take a shortcut. For example, if you are stuck in traffic and decide to cut across a field in order to get to your destination faster, you can say that you are "cutting across the field." It can also be used in a figurative sense, such as "I'm trying to cut across the controversy and get to the truth of the matter."
