When we use the expression "find it in your heart/yourself to do something," we're asking someone to try to do something even if they don't necessarily want to or it's difficult for them. It means to search within yourself and look for the compassion, willpower or generosity to perform an action. For instance, if someone asks you for a favor, but you're hesitant to do it because you're not in the mood or it's too much work, someone might say, "Can you find it in your heart to do this for me?" They're asking you to be kind and considerate and to try to help them out.
