"Ivy League" is a term used to describe a group of eight highly regarded universities in the United States, including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and others. This term is often used to describe these schools as being prestigious and highly competitive. It can also be used more broadly to describe a high level of academic excellence or achievement. For example, if someone says "he went to an Ivy League university," they are saying that he went to one of the top-ranked universities in the country.
