The expression "little/no better than" means that something or someone is not much or not at all superior to something else. It is used when comparing two things or people and implying that there isn't much difference between them. For example, if someone says "I feel little better than before" it means that they don't feel much improvement. Similarly, if someone says "That new smartphone is no better than the previous model" it means that there isn't much difference between the two smartphones in terms of performance or features.
