The expression "nothing much" is often used in response to the question "What's up?" or "What's happening?" It means that there is not much going on or nothing interesting happened recently. You can say "nothing much" when you don't have much to say or when you want to indicate that everything is normal or unremarkable. For example, if someone asks you what you did over the weekend, and you didn't do anything exciting, you can simply reply "nothing much."
