The expression "roar, romp, sweep, etc. to victory" is used to describe a situation where a team or individual wins in a confident, powerful and dominant manner. For example, if a soccer team wins a match by scoring several goals and not allowing the other team to score any, you might say they "roared to victory." Similarly, if a runner wins a race by a large margin, you might say they "swept to victory." These phrases are typically used in sports and competition, but can also be used more generally to describe any situation where someone wins in a forceful and dominant way.
