The expression "rule out of" means to exclude or eliminate something from consideration or possibility. It is commonly used when discussing options or choices and determining which ones are not viable. For example, if you are planning a vacation but decide to rule out going to the beach because of bad weather, it means that going to the beach is not an option you will consider anymore. Another example is when a doctor runs several tests to rule out different illnesses and finally arrives at a diagnosis. In both cases, "rule out of" means to exclude something from the list of possibilities.
