Cách sử dụng
"Stand in" refers to someone who takes the place of someone else temporarily. For example, if you are an actor and you cannot make it to a rehearsal, someone else can "stand in" for you, playing your part so the other actors can still practice. Another example is if a teacher is absent, a substitute teacher can "stand in" for them and teach the class for the day. It can also be used in casual conversation, such as "Can you stand in for me at work tomorrow?" meaning, "Can you take care of my job for the day?"
