Cách sử dụng
The expression "what makes somebody tick" means understanding why someone behaves in a certain way or what motivates them to do something. It could refer to someone's interests, values, or personality traits. It is often used when someone wants to get to know someone else better, or when trying to figure out how to work with or communicate with them effectively. For example, you may ask "What makes your friend tick?" to get a better understanding of their likes and dislikes, or "I can't seem to figure out what makes my boss tick" if you are having trouble understanding their management style.
