Cách sử dụng
The expression "write off" is often used when talking about losing something or considering something useless. For example, if a car is severely damaged in an accident, an insurance company may "write it off" meaning they believe it's not worth fixing and they will pay the owner the value of the car instead. The expression can also be used when talking about dismissing a situation or idea. If someone says, "I think we should cancel the project," and the others say, "No, let's not write it off just yet. We can still salvage it." Overall, "write off" is used to describe a situation or thing that is deemed unproductive, useless or not worth the effort or investment.
