A supervisor is a person who is in charge of a group of people or a department at work. The supervisor's main job is to make sure that everyone is doing their work correctly and efficiently. They also help employees when they have questions or problems. Sometimes supervisors might also be called managers or bosses. You might hear someone say, "I need to talk to my supervisor about my schedule" or "My supervisor gave me some feedback on my work." If you have a job, you will likely have a supervisor who you report to.
