The expression "have nothing on somebody" means that there is no evidence or information that someone has done anything wrong or illegal. It is often used in situations where there are suspicions or accusations about someone, but no proof to support them. For example, if someone is accused of stealing, but there is no evidence to prove that they did it, you could say "they have nothing on that person." It can also be used in a competitive sense, such as when one team or player is superior to another and the losing side may say "they have nothing on us."
