Cách sử dụng
The expression "put somebody off their stride" means to disturb or disrupt someone's ability to perform a task smoothly. It could be used when something unexpected happens to someone when they are trying to complete a task, causing them to lose focus and become distracted. For example, if a student is taking an exam and someone suddenly walks into the room, it could put the student off their stride and affect their performance on the exam. Or if a speaker is giving a speech and there is a loud noise in the background, it could put them off their stride and make it difficult for them to continue speaking smoothly.
