The expression "put/stick your oar in" means to interfere or get involved in a situation that doesn't concern you. It comes from the idea of someone inserting an oar into a boat they are not a part of and trying to paddle. For example, if two people are having an argument and you decide to join in and make it worse, someone might say "Don't put your oar in, it's none of your business". It's a way of telling someone to mind their own business and not get involved in something that doesn't concern them.
