Cách sử dụng
"Take up the slack" means to remove any extra or loose space or to fill in any gaps, in order to make something tight or complete. It can be used in different situational contexts, such as tightening a rope or cable, managing workload in a team, completing a job or task, or filling in gaps in a conversation. For example, if a rope has some loose parts, we can "take up the slack" by pulling the rope tighter to make it secure. Similarly, if a team member is not fulfilling their responsibilities, the other members can "take up the slack" by covering for them. In a conversation, if there is a gap in communication, one person can "take up the slack" by providing additional information or context to make the conversation complete.
