The expression "the clocks go forward/back" means that we change our clocks to adjust the time by either moving it an hour forward or an hour back. We do this twice a year in most countries, typically in March and November, to make better use of daylight. When we move the clock forward, we lose an hour of sleep, and when we move it back, we gain an hour of sleep. It's important to remember to adjust our clocks during these times so we can stay on schedule and not be late for anything.
