Cách sử dụng
The word 'regent' is usually used to describe a person who takes temporary control of a group or organization. It can also refer to someone who acts as a ruler on behalf of a monarch or a king or queen, if they are too young, sick or away from the throne for some reason. For example, a teacher might act as the regent for a class while the principal is away, or a parent could act as the regent for their child's savings account until they are old enough to manage it themselves. In history, a regent might have been appointed to govern a country or state when the monarch was unable to do so.
