Cách sử dụng
The word 'vain' is used to describe someone who is obsessed with their own appearance or qualities and often thinks they are better or more important than others. It can also refer to something that is pointless or has no value. For example, if someone spends a lot of time looking at themselves in the mirror and only cares about their appearance, we can say they are vain. Similarly, if someone is proud of their achievements and constantly boasts about them, we can say they are being vain. In other contexts, we can describe someone's efforts as vain if they are unsuccessful or futile, such as "her attempts to fix the broken vase were in vain."
