IRONY - Định nghĩa trong Từ điển tiếng Anh
Cách sử dụng
Irony is a word used to describe a situation or an event that is the opposite of what you expect to happen. For example, it would be ironic if a firefighter's house burned down. This is because a firefighter is someone whose job is to put out fires, but in this case, their own house is on fire. Another example is if a doctor who's supposed to keep people healthy gets sick. In both cases, what happened is the opposite of what you’d expect or anticipate. So, irony is when things happen in a way that is unexpected or seems like a coincidence.
