Ibis is a type of bird that is found in a variety of different habitats such as wetlands, marshes, and swamps. They have long beaks and legs and are usually white or gray in color. Sometimes they are also called "Sacred Ibis" because in ancient Egyptian mythology they were believed to be sacred to the god Thoth. If you are learning English, you might use the word ibis when talking about birds or nature in general, or when reading or writing about these topics.
