The word 'reason' is used to explain why something happens or why someone does something. It is used when you want to give an explanation or justification for something. For example, "I couldn't come to the party because I had to work" is a reason for not attending the party. Another example could be "He studied hard all week and as a result, he got good grades" - here, the reason for getting good grades was studying hard. The word 'reason' is also used in the context of thinking logically or having a rational explanation, as in "It doesn't make sense to sell the house now, there's no reason to rush into it." In everyday conversation, people frequently use 'reason' to explain or justify their actions or decisions.
