Morphological refers to the structure of a word and how it's formed. This is important when learning a new language because it helps us understand how words are put together and pronounced. For example, in English, adding "-ness" to the end of the word "happy" makes it "happiness". Understanding this change in structure helps us recognize and use new words more confidently. Morphology also helps linguists study how languages have evolved over time.
